This is rather late post but it is worth it to share with you.
The Galaxy branding by Samsung has additional member, this time its a hybrid camera with a smartphone functionalities. Announced in the IFA 2012 and launched locally together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the Samsung Galaxy Camera.
This is probably why the term camdroid was coined. It is the first digital camera with an android OS loaded into it. Samsung first came up with a Wi-Fi enabled camera that allows you to post your photos into the Social Networking sites like Facebook and Youtube, but this time, the Galaxy Camera has a full-featured Android with SIM card. It has an internal storage of 8G but you can always extend it up to 32G. And if you need more, your cloud storage like Dropbox, SkyDrive is always there.
