Samsung Galaxy Note 2 battery life test

I guess aside from rich features of the Android smartphones, our major concern is battery life. I was talking to a fellow blogger and consulted how battery of his Samsung Galaxy Note last, he said for casual 3G and browsing, his Note gives him at least 2 days. Whoaa! That is 48h of battery life.

I browsed GSM Arena’s blog and examined the battery life of Note 2. Take note that this one has an upgraded battery, it has now a 3100mAH vs the classic Note which has only 2500mAh.

Here are the results of the test by GSM Arena.

Talk time was won by Motorola RAZR MAXX, call it unli-talk and Razr Maxx will give it to you. The Note 2 ranked 3rd here. Take a look where iPhone 5 is located 22nd, not even in the top 10. While S3 recorded a 10hr talk time putting them on the 9th.

As for Web browsing, iPhone 5 topped it putting Note 2 on slot number 2. Browsing for almost 9hrs is still impressive.

While if you do video playback on Note 2 ranked third again vs Razr Maxx and Droid Razr Maxx. 11h of video playback means watching video clips all day on a weekend break.

We hope that the battery test results has contributed in deciding if you are getting the Note 2. Like I mentioned above, my friend who owns a classic Note is very happy and he can have it last for 2 days.

Check our comparison chart of the Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in this post. Note 2 can be availed in Smart for UnliData Plan 2000 while you can get it at Globe under Plan 2499. Should you decide to get the unlocked versions, the gray market has it for P31k. You can check out HotGadgets or WidgetCity for details.
