Huwaei is known for its entry to mid-range level manufacturer of smartphones, but in the Mobile World Congress early this year the company introduced their first flagship phone – Ascend D Quad.
The company was the first to introduce a quad-core phone but it was overtaken by HTC One X and the most anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3.

Ascend D Quad will be powered by Huwaei’s own processor 1.5GHz K3 V2, it will have a large screen of 4.5in with a resolution of 1280×720, and only 8.9mm thick. Its camera will be 8MP, 1G of RAM and up to 32G of external storage.
It is very interesting that Huawei claims that its quad-core phone will have 1800mAh battery that will last for “up to two days”. They employed a proprietary energy management software according to report.
Ascend D Quad will be shipped with the latest Android OS – the Ice Cream Sandwich but will not be a 4G phone.
